Genesis of A MYTH

The Lamborghini Countach LP5000S, produced between 1982 and 1985, embodies the very essence of the extreme supercar. The third evolution of the legendary Countach, it brought significant improvements in terms of engines and comfort, while retaining the radical aura that had made the model such a success.

Since its launch in 1974, the Lamborghini Countach has redefined sports car standards with its futuristic design by Marcello Gandini and its cutting-edge performance. However, to remain competitive with rivals such as the Ferrari 512 BB, Lamborghini has gradually improved its flagship model.

After the LP400 and LP400S, the LP5000S marks an important step forward by introducing a more powerful engine and optimising certain aspects of the chassis and comfort.

An automotive MYTH

The Lamborghini Countach LP5000 S is one of the purest versions of this iconic model, retaining its radical DNA while gaining in power. It embodies the golden era of Italian supercars, when extrovert design and raw performance took precedence over everything else.

Today, it remains a true symbol of exclusivity and motoring passion, prized by collectors and enthusiasts alike. With its inimitable style and furious V12 engine, it remains a timeless icon of prestige motoring.

The model was originally white and fitted with a spoiler. This information comes from the Countach Register, a database dedicated to this iconic model and maintained by Marcel Wallenburg, a renowned Lamborghini Countach enthusiast and historian. The database accurately records and documents the history of the cars produced. It is reported that this Countach was subsequently restored for Mr Kremer, a major Lamborghini importer in Germany during the 80s and 90s. It has been in France since the late 2000s.

Acquired in 2014, the car had then covered 27,000 km. Today, it has clocked up just over 50,000 km, proof of its regular use and reliability.
