Open-top ELEGANCE

The Ferrari F355 GTS is an icon of the ‘90s that combines top-level performance with open-air driving pleasure. A semi-convertible version of the F355, it is distinguished by its removable targa roof, allowing enthusiasts to enjoy the sound of its V8 engine in the open air.

Introduced in 1994, the Ferrari F355 succeeded the 348 with the aim of modernising the range and improving roadholding. The GTS version, launched in 1995, was aimed at those looking for an alternative between the Berlinetta coupé and the fully convertible Spider. One of the most famous admirers of the F355 GTS was the late Ayrton Senna, who, despite being a Honda ambassador at the time, expressed his admiration for the work carried out by Ferrari on this generation.

Technology and SENSATIONS

The F355 GTS is powered by a naturally aspirated 3.5-liter V8 engine, producing 380 horsepower at 8,250 rpm. Equipped with a six-speed manual transmission or an optional F1 sequential gearbox from 1997, it delivers thrilling performance, accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.7 seconds. The adoption of titanium valves and a variable intake system ensures a captivating sound, particularly appreciated when the roof is removed. Renowned automotive journalist Jeremy Clarkson often praised the F355’s engine note, calling it one of the most melodious ever produced.
