A particular HISTORY

First registered on September 23, 1955, this vehicle was acquired on November 4, 1988. At that time, it bore the registration number 1955 VJ 67 and showed 72,033 miles on the odometer. A complete restoration, covering mechanics, chassis, bodywork, and interior, was carried out between 2009 and 2012. Upon completion of the restoration, received on April 27, 2012, the odometer displayed 72,200 miles. Since then, the vehicle has been driven occasionally over short distances. As of today, it has recorded approximately 85,000 miles.

From generations TO GENERATIONS

The vehicle entered the family during the period of the current owner’s military service. Over the years, it became a companion to many cherished moments, accompanying family outings, picnics, and even the occasional wedding. The longest journey recorded took the vehicle to Gérardmer, reflecting its role in family adventures and shared memories.

Over a span of 37 years, the distance traveled is estimated to be between 30,000 and 40,000 kilometers, due to the odometer being non-functional prior to a complete restoration.

Today, the vehicle is preserved with care and is driven sparingly, typically one or two days per month. It features a 4-speed non-synchronized manual gearbox and right-hand drive, true to its period character. Affectionately nicknamed "le tacot", it offers a distinctive driving experience, particularly enjoyable when riding as a passenger.
